Krakowska is a cooked and lightly smoked sausage that is named after the famed polish city Cracow. Krakowska is as lean as any sausage can get. Smoky and aromatic, this sausage reminds me of well-made old-fashioned smoked ham. The ingredients include hand selected fresh pork ham and pork seasoned with garlic,pepper, caraway and allspice. Excellent as a cold cut for sandwiches, a charcuterie board, or slice it thick and fry it on a skillet for a tasty hot snack.
